311 PTT ALREADY ON FILE

Warning311 PTT CNTR ALREADY ON FILE
Rejection occurs when a Permit to Transfer (PTT) is attempted for a Bill of Lading (BOL) that has already been accepted and recorded in the CBP's system. Essentially, the system identifies that the BOL numbers have previously been processed and received, and as a result, it does not allow the same PTT request to be sent again for those BOLs.

Next Steps:

  1. We recommend verifying the PTT status using the CBP Manifest Query in to confirm the active record
  2. Document the 1W response on the query results.

3. The presence of the 1W response confirms that no further action is needed for this BOL’s PTT.
