Creating ACE Air eManifest & sending to CBP

There is an option to create the airway bills manually (might be a preferred option for lower shipment volume).

To create a new airway bill manually:

  1. Select “ACE Air eManifest History” (second option) under the menu bar on the top left
  2. Click on the “New Airway Bill” button on the top right, which will allow you to manually enter your data
  3. You will see the fields for data elements for ACE Air eManifest creation, an asterisk (*) denotes mandatory fields
  4. Start inputting your “Flight Details” info such as AWB number, Airline, Airport Origin and so on
  5. Then enter your “Shipper” and “Consignee” information
  6. The third section is “Cargo details”, where you need to input data such as piece count, weight, and cargo description (if you have FDA shipments, then click on the “FDA Indicator”
  7. There are 3 more additional indicators at the bottom, you can select any that applies to you (e.g. if your flight is moving under PTP (Permit to Proceed) and/or if you have split shipments and/or if you have in-bond shipments), you would need to provide more details depending on your selection
  8.  Once you completed all the fields, you can select “Save and go back” (to go back to the previous table) or “Save and create new” (to create another ACE Air eManifest), or “Save and clone” (to clone the created eManifest)

Once you have created all of your eManifests, you can go back to “ACE Air eManifest History” where you will see your created eManifests under the “Draft” status

  1. You can select the ones you would like to submit to CBP by checking the box next to AWB numbers or you can check the “Select All” box on the top left
  2. Once you selected your entries, you can click on “Send Manifest” on the top right, which will allow you to send your eManifest as an “Add” (original/first submission) to CBP
  3. You can also modify some data elements on the eManifest that have been sent to CBP and submit it them again by selecting “Change”, then “Send Manifest” options on the top right
  4. Please note that late filing to CBP must be sent first as a “change” if the flight has already arrived
  5. You can also cancel your eManifest by selecting “Cancel” and “Send Manifest”
