How to Create a Product - Product Catalog

To create a Product in the product catalog, to access to the product catalog you can go to the menu on the right and then select the option product catalog 



Here you have 2 options, you can either create a Product manually by clicking on the option new item



Or you can upload a CSV file to create products in bulk 




If you use the option new item, you will have the following view, from here you need to complete the information mark with a red asterisk which is the mandatory information, you will also need to turn on the switch for FDA Prior Notice 

The product code is something for your reference, for you to identify the product and is going to be the product ID 

Then you will see the FDA data that is required for the product 



You will also see the Affirmation of Compliance, which are extra information the FDA may require such as the PFR - Manufacturers food facility registration number, if you don't have an exception can be submitted in the FME - Food Processing Facility Registration Exemption. 

The red dot means an AoC is required 


After this you will see the Parties information, from here you will have 2 options, you can either enter all the party information like name and address, or you can use the option load from. Load from means the information will be taken from the Prior notice upload, so it needs to be entered in the Prior Notice. 
I advise you to add the Parties information directly in the catalog if the parties are not changing and they are the same every time the product is used, if the parties are changing Is better to use the load from.



Once we have all the mandatory information, we save the product and use the The product code to identify and provide under our file
