When To Use Original, Add, Cancel On Ocean AMS

When To Use Original, Add, Cancel On Ocean AMS

  1. We use Original when this is a new transaction
  2. If you wanted to add more HBLs to a manifest (manifest being HBLs grouped under the same date/voyage name/voyage #) you would send these additional HBLs as Add
  3. If you need to update/change any info on AMS you first need to send the HBL as Cancel, get the cancellation accepted, update the AMS and send it again as Original
  4. If however, the vessel has already arrived any subsequent submissions should be sent as Add
